
Lauren is a registered Psychologist who completed her Masters Degree in Professional Psychology at Monash University in 2018.
Over her professional career, Lauren has worked with teenagers and adults, and families in the community sector and within sporting clubs. She has previously worked in the field of providing clinical treatment to support people overcome barriers to unemployment.
Lauren holds experience and interest in treating general mental health concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, self-confidence issues, motivation impairments, work issues and sleep disturbances. Lauren has a passion for sport and performance psychology and offers her services to local football clubs in the community. Lauren uses evidence-based therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness and Positive Psychology methods.
Lauren’s approach is warm, considerate, and encouraging. She believes in putting the client first and individualising treatment to the unique needs of each client. Lauren is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and holds full general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading, listening to music and watching AFL football.
